FAQs

What clothing should I wear?
As the courses run from autumn to spring, we conduct a lot of courses outdoors, and the British weather is famously changeable we suggest outdoor attire suitable to the time of year.
You will be working in the garden so clothing and footwear you don’t mind covered in mud or snagged by thorns are advised. A woolly hat may be useful in colder times, and a sun hat with suncream is sensible when a lot hotter.
It is also useful to have something waterproof to hand.
Should I bring anything else with me?
A pen/pencil and notebook may be useful should you want to take notes during the day, especially for plant names.
What about gardening gloves/tools etc?
Please bring your own gardening gloves just in case you want to use them on the day. All other tools will be provided by us on site.
What if I have allergies requirements?
Please advise of any allergy requirement. We home cook all the food for the lunches so will accommodate any specific food needs.
